The ceremony of opening the poster presentation section of the ATAAC conference is scheduled for Oct 15th 2019 at 3:45 p.m. at the Westin hotel. The authors should print their posters in B1 paper size (707 x 1000 mm) and deliver them to the expo area on Oct 15th, 8 a.m., so the posters could be put on panels on time. The poster presentation will be held:
15 October: 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.,
16 October : 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.,
17 October : 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.
In that period the authors should stay next to their posters so they could provide answers to visitors' potential questions.
All the authors are welcome to prepare leaflets or other additional promo materials with information on the work of their organisation. We advise the authors to print smaller copies of their posters (A4 paper size) so all the visitors who are interested in the presentations can take those materials. Business cards can also be very useful in such presentations.
The default size of the poster is B1 (707 x 1000 mm) in portrait orientation. The poster should be in English.
Poster topics: presentation of AT and AAC usage in your institution, case studies, and similar subjects.
Your poster can be made in PowerPoint or some other programme that supports big size posters. It is important to mention that the authors are responsible for making and printing out of the posters. The organisation committee of the conference does not do the poster printing, but can help you with the advice, if necessary.
Except for the dimensions which are strictly defined by the B1 paper size, you are free to design your poster in a way that suits you best. However, do not forget to put the following information on your poster: poster title, names and last names of all the authors, the name of the organisation you represent, contact information.
